Expedition

From a sales office and logistics to managing a pizzeria, Bob did it all! He has been deploying his valuable work experience at Kolmer since 2007. Incoming and outgoing goods, Bob knows the ins and outs of the warehouse like no other. This varied role suits him well. “Every day is a surprise. You never know what’s coming next and I love it. For me it’s a challenge to send off as many motors as possible which means that a towering pile of orders is no problem at all.” This efficient and hardworking colleague is easy to get along with and only goes home when the work is done.

Bob is proud of all that has been achieved in recent years. “Kolmer is open to improvement. If you make a suggestion, they will listen to it and act upon it whenever possible. We have expanded and reorganised the warehouse, added a loading and unloading dock and purchased forklift trucks. This allows us to work more efficiently and pleasantly. The nice thing about a small company is that we really do it together. Everyone helps out and the director works the racks as well if necessary. We’re one team and there are no islands.” Bob lives in Zeewolde with his wife and two children. He fills his evenings and weekends doing odd jobs albeit it at home or for friends and family. Bob is happy with the growth Kolmer is striving for. “Also the possible new building, I look forward to sharing my thoughts about that!”
