Kees started working in Kolmer’s workshop in 2012. After four years he switched part-time to Planning & Work Preparation and is now working full-time in the Planning & Control Department. “The main part of my work is still the planning & work preparation for the workshop. In addition, I do a bit of purchasing and approval of orders. At Kolmer you get a lot of opportunities and space to develop and further your career. I’m happy about that. When I came here I hardly knew what an electric motor looked like, but by now it really has become the centre of my world. I enjoy working with my colleagues to set things up and complete the picture. This function requires structure, but you also have to be very flexible because no two days are the same.”

Kees is a team player for whom the functioning of the company is paramount. Manage and communicate, it suits him well. “Over the past year I have learned a lot in terms of content in my new role, but I am far from finished. We are in the process of taking our department to a higher level which is a lovely challenge. Kolmer is reputed to be a good company and I’m very proud of that.” Every year Kees organises the Putten sports marathon together with a colleague and enjoys all the positivity that goes with it. He lives in Ermelo, together with his wife, and football is still his great passion. You can find him on the sports field several times a week. Kees participates in the International Four Day Marches Nijmegen each year and you can also regularly see him pass by on his racing bicycle, sporting a Kolmer outfit.
