Sales Engineer

After his mechanical engineering training, Marcel ended up in ICT after having served a number of years as a professional soldier. Ten years, in 2010, he joined Kolmer. From the Internal Sales Office he is in contact with customers and deals with quotations, orders and all other sales-related activities. “Turning a quotation into an order, that’s the purpose of my work and I enjoy it. In addition, the personal atmosphere within Kolmer is fantastic, I work here with great pleasure. The images of the future that we have make me very excited. I keep an eye on the market and technology and I want to serve my customers as well as possible. Customers have confidence in Kolmer, they appreciate what we do for them.”

Friendly and collegial, Marcel is a loyal and solution-oriented colleague with a strong focus. Clarity and clear mutual communication are important to him. “Someone else would say, ‘That’s not possible’, but we try to be resourceful and still come up with a solution. You have to be straightforward and filter the information properly.” Marcel is married and father of a daughter and a son. He played football himself for years but can now be found on the fields as a coach and trainer for thirteen and fourteen year olds. Doing companiable things with friends and family is what he greatly enjoys. “The culture at Kolmer is very social and free. That freedom and the possibilities you have suit me well. And if you’re stuck we will work it out together.”
