Managing director

Martijn worked at Rabobank for twenty-one years. As Customer Relationship Manager he was familiar with Kolmer and owners Jerry and Jaco. They asked him to join the team as Managing Director and co-owner in 2018. “We have jointly set the course for Kolmer for the coming years. It was not a top-down process as all colleagues participated in it. My job now is to monitor the progress and ensure that the right person is in the right place. Kolmer employs professionals who know what they’re doing and therefore accept responsibility.” Martijn is a positive, dynamic and energetic person. An inspiring and motivating manager, who can analyse and direct well. The further development of his colleagues; that’s what makes him happy. “What I most enjoy is working with people, which includes my colleagues as well as our customers. How can I support my employees and how can we help our customers in the best possible way? That’s what I fill my days with. I enjoy that we, as a team, are making this beautiful organisation increasingly successful.”

As a native of Putten, he enjoys working in his hometown again. In order to land on his feet after the daily hectic, Martijn enjoys the peace and quiet of the water in his open launch or during a walk in the vast forests of The Veluwe.
